Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon is a launch vehicle for television star Kapil Sharma who has an unprecedented fan following for his show. This comedy film tries to cash on his popularity and even though there isn’t much humor at least there aren’t many crude and lewd jokes which are pretty much the order of the day for Bollywood films lately. The story though is so absurd and far-fetched that you might as well believe in pigs that fly.

Kapil plays Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan a young bloke that gets married to three different girls – don’t bother asking how and why. Right away, you are put off by a story that has no logic, sense or conviction.  He takes his mom’s advice a bit too literally “Kabhi kisi ladki ka dil aur ghar mat todna” she had told him. Like someone courting a porcupine, he realizes that it is all too painful. His lawyer friend (Varun Sharma) gives him an idea of keeping his three wives in three different apartments in the same building. It only gets loonier from there as, he is actually in love with a fourth girl (Elli Avram) whose father (Manoj Joshi) thinks he is already engaged to another girl.

Create as much as chaos and confusion is the only mantra of screenplay, rest all be damned.  The scenes are artificial and look forced, while there may be the odd funny line, there is very little reason to cheer in this oddball story.

Just think about it again – a man is married to three women who live in the same building and yet they don’t realize they are married to the same man. And why would any man do that in the first place? It can happen only in a Bollywood film.
